At least 23 people have died after a tornado swept through the US state of Mississippi on Friday night.
More people are believed to be trapped under the rubble of the destroyed buildings.
The tornado knocked down trees and power lines. Tens of thousands of power outages were reported in several villages.
Several other southern states are braced for severe storms.
