Spain will no longer sell fruits and vegetables in plastic
After France, Spain also begins to implement one of the rules of the European Union. Fruits and vegetables in Spain will no longer be sold packaged in plastic.
Plastic will no longer be anywhere, in any store or supermarket until 2023.
The decree was issued by the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
Another initiative the ministry is engaged in is preparing measures to encourage the purchase of bulk products and non-plastic water.
The goal is to halve sales of plastic bottles by 2030 and use 100% recyclable materials.
