Kate Middleton's cancer recovery is going well, says royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams. He argues that Prince William's recent public appearances signal the royal family's return to normalcy.
The Princess of Wales shocked the world last month when she announced she was undergoing 'preventive chemotherapy'.
Prince William gave up his duties to support his wife. But he returned to royal life with a charity appearance in Surrey, England on Thursday. The future king was also spotted watching a soccer match with his eldest son, Prince George.
The two outings were deliberately designed to reassure the public that Princess Kate's recovery is going according to plan, says Fitzwilliams.
"The royal family understand that everything they do sends a message in one way or another," the expert told The Sun.
