A body and some personal belongings of Brian Laundrie, the missing fiancé of slain vlogger Gabby Petito have been found in a park in Florida.

The discovery was made Wednesday afternoon in Carlton, Florida, near Laundrie's home, along with a camping bag.

If the human remains are identified as belonging to Brian, this brings an end to the search for the 23-year-old suspected of murder.

Brian's parents were present at the search, but declined to speak publicly about the case despite ongoing prayers from Gabby's family.

Gabby and Brian embarked on a journey earlier this summer with a plan to document them all on film for their social media channels.

Just weeks before she disappeared, police in Moab, Utah, were called to the couple's van after fellow passengers saw Brian hit Gabbyn.

August 26 was the last time anyone saw or heard of Gabby.

Laundrie returned to his parents' home on September 1st. At first, they told police they had last seen Gabby on September 14, then stated they had seen him on September 13.

And since then he was on the run.

The Office of Medical Examination was called to Florida Park, where police and the FBI were searching for Brian Laundrie after discovering partial human remains in an area that was previously under water.

Laundrie family lawyer Steven Bertolino confirmed the news to the DailyMail and claims officers are now conducting a full park search for the 23-year-old missing.
