Russian rockets hit two buildings in Odesa, 17 dead

So far, the number of victims from the rocket attack in Odesa has reached 17 people. Four of them are children.

The attack happened around 2 am. After this event, other residents of the area were advised by the Ukrainian forces to find safe shelter underground.

One rocket hit a nine-story residential building, the other a recreation center.

This is the second attack in a short time that takes place in centers with a large concentration of civilians.

Earlier this week, two Russian X-22 missiles struck a crowded shopping mall in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk, killing at least 18 people and injuring dozens more.

Ukraine's defense ministry said the attack was deliberately planned to coincide with the mall's busiest hours and cause the maximum number of casualties.
