Putin breaks silence on Prigozhin's death: He was a talented man with a difficult fate

Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his condolences to the families of the ten people on board the plane, including Wagner's mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin, who crashed near Moscow on Wednesday evening.
Speaking in the Kremlin, Putin described Yevgeny Prigozhin as a "talented man, but with a difficult fate".
"I knew Prigozhin for a very long time, since the beginning of the 90s. He was a man of hard luck and made serious mistakes in life," Putin said, adding that Prigozhin had achieved the necessary results both for his own interests and for a common cause at Putin's request.
"He was a talented man, a talented businessman. He worked not only in our country, but also abroad, in Africa," said the Russian president.
Putin also vowed to investigate the cause of the crash, which happened shortly after the plane took off from a Moscow airport en route to St Petersburg.
