According to the publishing house "Kiepenheuer & Witsch", Merkel wants to include in it the most difficult decisions she has made and the key situations of her political career.
The idea is that Merkel wants to explain them in a simple language, to be understandable even for the general public.
The former German chancellor will summarize her memories with the help of the political advisor Beate Baumann who accompanied her during the years of leadership.
