The European summit is held in Kiev, while the bomb alarm goes off

EU representatives are holding the summit in Kiev, while the sirens are on.

This is the first summit held in a year, since Russia invaded Ukraine.

At the top of the agenda will be talks on Ukraine's membership in the EU. The president insistently and quickly asks for it, but expectations are not high that a positive decision will be made at this summit. What is expected is the continuous support that Ukraine is receiving and will continue to receive from the EU for coping with the war.

Present at the meeting are representatives of the countries of the European Union and not the leaders of the 27 states.
