In the next two-day meeting, the ministers of foreign affairs of the NATO countries will discuss the possibility of a permanent increase of soldiers of the peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, KFOR, said the head of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.
"We have recently increased our presence in Kosovo, sending thousands of additional soldiers. We are now considering whether there should be a more permanent addition and whether we need some new special skills," Stoltenberg said.
There are currently 4,687 troops in Kosovo within the peacekeeping mission of KFOR.
The heads of diplomacy of the NATO member states will meet on November 28 and 29 at the headquarters of the alliance in Brussels.
