Prince Harry's sweet message to remember Queen Elizabeth

A few days after the death of Queen Elizabeth, her grandson, Prince Harry, has commemorated his grandmother through an official statement. The second son of Charles III and his wife Meghan Markle had left the Royal Family, renouncing their noble titles to pursue a life on another continent, free of the constraints of court life.

However, Harry and Meghan appeared in public, along with heir to the throne William and his wife Kate Middleton, to watch the tributes outside Windsor Gate.

Despite the recent controversy, Prince Harry wanted to leave a sweet message to remember his grandmother:

“In honor of the life of my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen – and in mourning her loss – we all remember the guiding compass she was to so many in her dedication to service and duty.

Grandma, while this final parting brings us great sorrow, I am forever grateful for all of our first encounters, from my earliest childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as Commander-in-Chief , until the first moment you met my beloved wife and hugged your beloved great-grandchildren.

I cherish these times together with you, and many other special moments in between. We already miss him, not only by us, but by the whole world. And speaking of first dates, we now honor my father in his new role as King Charles III.

Thank you for your commitment to service. Thanks for your kind advice. Thank you for your "contagious" smile. We smile too knowing that you and Grandpa are now reunited, both together in peace," his statement read.
