The European Union will no longer seek to put masks on airports and planes, amid easing coronavirus restrictions across the bloc.
The decision will take effect on May 16.
"From next week, face masks will no longer need to be mandatory on air travel, broadly adapting to the changing demands of national authorities across Europe for public transport," the CEO said in a statement. of EASA (EU Aviation Safety Agency) Patrick Ky.
