The new measure that entered France from today: Go to the cinema or museum, if it shows this confirmation
Today in France, measures have entered into force with the new health passport certifying coronavirus vaccination, negative test or certification that they have been cured of coronavirus. For one of the three certifications citizens will be allowed to enter most cinemas and museums.
The decision was taken by the French government due to the explosion with new cases of infected, although it has aroused protests and dissatisfaction among citizens.
The measure came into effect after French Health Minister Olivier Veran reported 18,000 new cases of infection in just 24 hours. That compares with less than 7,000 cases a day last week, an increase of 150 percent.
"We have not seen anything like this before," he told the National Assembly, adding that the Delta variant is increasing the number of cases significantly faster than the other variants.
Such a measure is expected to be imposed in the coming days, also for drinking coffee in the bar, eating in a restaurant or entering shopping malls.
French President Emmanuel Macron warned this month announcing the decision on the health passport, as well as the mandatory vaccination for all employees of the health system, until September.
