Mark Zuckerberg responds to allegations made by former employee Frances Haugen
Mark Zuckerberg has reacted after the testimonies of the former Facebook employee Haugen, calling her accusations untrue.
"At the heart of these allegations is the idea that we prioritize profit over safety and well-being. That is not true ," Zuckerberg said.
Adding: "The argument that we deliberately push content that makes people angry for profit is profoundly illogical. We make money from ads and advertisers constantly tell us that they do not like their ads near harmful content that causes anger."
Recall that Frances Haugen has leveled accusations against Mark Zuckerberg on the American show "60 Minutes", where he says that the company is aware that their platform is used to spread violence, misinformation, hatred and does nothing to hide this evidence after puts its interests before the safety of users.
At first, 37-year-old Haugen started making accusations in complete anonymity, then she came out with a voice and a picture to show how Facebook is harming society.
