A Nebraska woman has been accused of helping her teenage daughter terminate a 24-week pregnancy. Investigators discovered several Facebook messages in which the two discussed using drugs to induce a miscarriage and made plans to burn the fetus afterward.

In one of the Facebook messages, Jessica Burgess, 41, tells her 17-year-old daughter that she has taken abortion pills for her and gives her instructions on how to take them to end the pregnancy.

Meanwhile, the girl replies that she can't wait to get that thing out of her body.

When they were first interviewed, both told investigators that the teenager had given birth to the baby stillborn. They said they put the fetus in a bag and put it in a box in the back of their van, and later buried it.

From the expertise performed on the fetus, it turns out that it was attempted to burn itself, after the abortion, as it had thermal wounds and that it was more than 23 weeks old.

Now mother and daughter are accused of terminating the pregnancy.
