The Japanese Prime Minister surprise visit to Kiev, as a way to openly reject

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is heading to Kiev for a surprise meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky to "resolutely reject Russia's aggression against Ukraine," official Tokyo reported.

His surprise trip comes as Chinese leader Xi Jinping holds talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. Xi told Putin on Monday that China and Russia "share similar goals". According to the media, China has a plan for the final settlement of the situation between Russia and Ukraine.

Putin, on the other hand, says that Russia is ready to study China's proposal for resolving the situation in Ukraine. Western leaders have expressed skepticism about Beijing's role as a peacemaker.
