The rare copy of the US Constitution is sold at auction for the record figure
A rare copy of the US Constitution has been sold at auction for a record $ 43 million at Sotheby's.
The person who bought it was a private collector, who was not identified, paid the highest figure ever for a historical document.
The collector managed to offer more than one group of investors in cryptocurrencies called ConstitutionDao.
The 1787 edition is the final text of the Constitution printed to be submitted to the Continental Congress. Nearly 500 copies were printed, though only a handful are believed to still exist.
