A volcanic eruption has started again in the southwest of Iceland.
The eruption is located nearly 40 kilometers from Reykjavik, near Mount Fagrandalsfial, where a volcano also erupted in 2021.
"The explosion started near Fagrandalsfial. The exact location remains to be confirmed," the Icelandic Meteorological Institute announced on Twitter today.
