Ireland approves the decision to vaccinate children aged 5-11

Ireland has approved vaccinations for children aged 5-11. About 480,000 children of this age in primary schools in the Republic of Ireland will be able to start the vaccination process in January.

Ireland had earlier approved vaccination of children aged 12 to 15 in August, while the decision to reduce the age allowed to do anti-Covid vaccination comes after the increase in cases among children.

Yesterday, Spain also approved the decision to vaccinate children of these age groups.
