Greece, the next country to ban cell phones in class! Suspensions and exceptions

Even Greece has decided not to allow the use of cell phones during classes, in the new school year.

The new law, similar to what is already being applied in Belgium and France, says that children will be able to bring mobile phones to school, but will not be able to use them during lessons.

Students who do not comply will be suspended from school for one day.

However, anyone who films their schoolmates or teachers without permission could face expulsion from school.

According to experts, spending too much time in front of the screen affects children's mental health. This problem is also part of the political agenda of the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

"The early and teenage years are critical for brain and personality development and are also the times when minors are most vulnerable to social media," she wrote.
