California dance hall killer found dead
California police have identified the gunman suspected of killing 10 people at a dance hall in Los Angeles.
The 72-year-old was found dead in a white van.
He had a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, LA County Sheriff Robert Luna said.
Lunar New Year celebrations were underway in Monterey Park, known for its large Asian population.
The police still do not know the motive of the serious incident.
Ten people were killed and seven others are still in the hospital, some in critical condition, the sheriff said at a news conference Sunday afternoon in Monterey Park.
