Giuseppe Conte: "I lived on my savings for months"
Former Prime Minister and lawyer Giuseppe Conte said he has lived for months alone with his savings. During his speech to Atreus, he said he had suspended much of his work as a lawyer to avoid interfering with politics.
"If I get a salary? "I have been on leave for several months, I have not received a single penny and I have not been a lawyer for months, because I do not want to confuse business with politics."
"I closed my office and sent the invoices to the clients. "I will live with what I had set aside," said Conte.
"Since I took on this responsibility," he said, "I have put a lot of things on the line."
