The Italian journalist is fined because she made fun of Meloni's height

A court in Milan has ordered journalist Giulia Cortez to pay Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni a compensation of 5,000 euros, because he mocked her for her height on social networks.

As Reuters reports, the journalist was also fined 1,200 euros in October 2021 for mocking the prime minister's height, as well as publishing a photo of Meloni and Benito Mussolini.

Melon's height is specified between 1.58 m and 1.63 m on various media sites.

The prime minister's lawyer said that the compensation money will be donated to charity.
