France makes Covid test mandatory for people entering the EU despite being vaccinated
France has made the Covid test mandatory for all persons coming from countries outside the European Union, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or not.
The news was given by the spokesman of the French government, Gabriel Atal. The decision was taken to curb the spread of Covid, especially now with the new Omicron variant, which has been described by the WHO as a "concern" variant.
Atal also said that decisions on travel within the EU will be coordinated by European leaders this week.
