Finland will not continue the NATO membership process without Sweden.
At a press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Finnish President Sauli Niinistöm said that Turkey's proposal regarding Sweden and Finland's application to NATO was a total surprise.
In Sweden it has been said that "Finland's cause is also ours." In the same way we say, Sweden's cause is ours. "This means that we go further side by side," said the Finnish Prime Minister.
