A chocolate factory located in Wieze in Belgium, Barry Callebaut, has temporarily closed its doors after detecting salmonella bacteria in a batch of produce, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The factory in Wieze is the largest chocolate factory in the world, according to Belgium's government tourism website.
The company said it has taken precautions, including recalling all products manufactured since the time of the test. Production at Wieze will remain suspended until further notice.
