The British House of Commons honored Craig Mackinlay, a Conservative MP who returned to work five months after having his limbs amputated.
Wearing prosthetics, he entered the hall where his colleagues broke the rules, briefly forgot about political debates, and greeted Mackinlay with a standing ovation.
The reason for amputation was sepsis, a potentially fatal infection.
Craig is 57 years old, married with one daughter.
