COVID-19/83% of new cases in the US are with the Indian version "delta"
According to health authorities in Washington, 83% of new coronavirus infections in the US are with the Indian variant "delta", a mutation of COVID that is more transmitted, but also more dangerous for young people.
The trend is extremely worrying, as two weeks ago 50% of infections were with this variant, a proof that the "delta" is very contagious and dangerous.
Because of these developments some urban centers in the US have restored the mandate of masking and guarding distances indoors to avoid launching another infectious wave.
According to US experts even those who have received both doses of the anti-COVID vaccine may be at risk of re-infection.
