Billie Eilish puts the trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard into the song, but not for good
Billie Eilish sang the song "TV" live at one of her concerts. He also included the famous Depp-Heard trial, but not for good.
In the text written by her brother, with whom she also went on stage, Billie says: "The Internet went crazy watching movie stars in court / While they are overturning the 'Roe vs. Wade' law".
In this song Billie puts the emphasis on the point where television, the online and the public interest have reached. For four weeks people watched the live trial between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard accused of fraud. This trial took place in parallel with debates in the Senate to remove the right to abortion.
Roe vs. Wade is the current law that gives women the right to terminate an unwanted or unplanned pregnancy in the first trimester.
