Australia plans to ban children from using social networks

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced on Tuesday that his government plans to ban children from using social media.
In a statement, the Albanian Prime Minister said his government will introduce legislation this year to implement a minimum age for access to social media and other relevant digital platforms.
"We know that social media is causing social harm and taking children away from real friends and real experiences," said the Prime Minister.
However, he did not share further details about the age limit for children who will not be allowed to use social networks.
