Nothing new from Putin's Victory Day speech!
Putin delivered the speech that until a few minutes ago was considered "Great". Various media and analyzes alluded to the possibility of Putin formally declaring a general war on Ukraine (as he has so far called it a special operation). Others said it could declare World War III, but none of that happened.
Putin began his speech by showing how important the intervention in Ukraine was. He said NATO had long been destabilizing the situation and posing a threat to Russia and that the decision to intervene was the right one and at the right time. There was a minute of silence for the fallen soldiers and so on.
It was certainly not expected to declare the end of the war or victory and it did not happen either.
