The court has left Alban Mener in prison, who beat his neighbor Nikolin Staka to death a few days ago.
During the session for granting the security measure, Meneri stated that he was under the influence of alcohol when he physically confronted Staka.
The incident happened in Tirana a few days ago, when Meneri was arguing with some women about a parking space. His neighbor intervened to quell the conflict, but they got into a physical confrontation.
Staka died as a result of internal bleeding from the blows. He was found dead in his home a day later.
Staka was a teacher by profession.
