A serious incident happened after noon in Mirdita. The police announce that a 61-year-old man killed his wife accidentally while cleaning a firearm. Vitore Pacuku was sent to the hospital for treatment, but he could not survive his injuries.
POLICE NOTICE
The Rrëshen Regional Hospital has informed the operating room of the Mirdita Police Station that the VP citizen was sent by her relatives for medical help, wounded by a gunshot, who died as a result of the injuries.
From the preliminary verifications carried out by the Police services, it is suspected that in the village of Jezull, Mirdita, in the apartment, a citizen of PP, 61 years old, while cleaning a pistol, accidentally shot his wife, a citizen of VP, 54 years old, who is immediately transported to the hospital for medical help, by her relatives, but as a result of the injuries received, she lost her life.
The PP citizen was escorted to the premises of the Mirdita Police Station, for further procedural actions, while the pistol firearm was seized as material evidence.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Lezhë Judicial District, continues the work at the scene, for the complete clarification of the circumstances of the event.
