Paper plates enter into force today, the situation on the Kosovo-Serbia border

Today, the interim agreement between Kosovo and Serbia entered into force, on the issue of license plates, which caused a blockade and tensions for more than ten days at the two border crossings in northern Kosovo, Jarinje and Brnjak.

Today, Serbian drivers introduced him to Kosovo after putting stickers on the license plates of their cars, as did the citizens of Kosovo, although the latter have been using temporary license plates for more than 10 years when they entered Serbian territory.

This rule comes as the second point of the agreement between the two countries, after a meeting of negotiators from both sides and mediated by the EU in Brussels. According to Kosovo media, the situation is calm.

President Aleksandar Vucic has said that this agreement is temporary and a final solution to the situation will be needed: We proposed the idea.

But at the same time, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that with this agreement begins the era when Serbia begins to get used to reciprocity.
