Haradinaj demands Kurti's resignation: He made two dangerous decisions for Kosovo, he told the US No!
The Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti must resign, stated the chairman of the AAK and former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj. From the Assembly, Haradinaj said that Kurti's government has taken two harmful and dangerous decisions for Kosovo. He mentioned the refusal for the American gas project as well as the license plates that, according to him, its damages will be experienced in the future.
Excerpts from Ramush Haradinaj's statement:
"The Kurti government has taken two harmful decisions, ie dangerous for Kosovo. One is known as the license plate agreement, we will experience its damages and we will face them in the future, and the other decision is the rejection of the gas project.
MCC has spent three years and over $ 10 million on various gas feasibility studies. For these studies MCC also hired U.S. military engineers along with other contracting companies and all of these, senior Kurti government experts said no.
They told you not even the US military engineers, they told you that your studies are not convincing. So Kurti is saying no to the 200 million Americans allocated by President Biden for Kosovo in May this year, for which news the Kurti Government did not say a single word, nor did they get tired of welcoming President Biden's request.
Kurti is saying no to a geostrategic project for the country that would pave the way for new and important alliances for the country. Kurti is calling the American project a Russian project, above all the most worrying aspect is the tarnishing of the project by this government.
The Kurti government has taken two harmful decisions, ie dangerous for Kosovo. One is known as the license plate agreement, its damages we will experience and face in the future, and the other decision is the rejection of the gas project.
By rejecting the gas project, the Kurti Government, in addition to saying no to the United States, has said no to other partners such as the EBRD who are currently working on Kosovo's gas master plan. This attitude and rejection of the government is very disturbing and as never before Kurti shook our friendship with America. "Shaking that will have consequences for the country, therefore the call for resignation of this resignation is legitimate and at the same time before the resignation to return the decision for gas".
