Three days, three medals for Kosovo

Saturday in Kosovo began with the extraordinary success of Distria Krasniqi. Gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics!

Yesterday, the representative of Kosovo in basketball, girls category, won the bronze medal in the European Championship for Small States. This was the first time that Kosovo girls played in international competitions.

Today, Nora Gjakova, with her strength, encouraged us as well. In a day of mourning and grief, she presented Kosovo with an Olympic gold medal.

Our girls continue to emerge victorious over sports opponents and over prejudices about the selection of professions. Their strength and determination are exemplary for girls and boys everywhere.

The brilliance of their medals gives us all hope for a bright and equal future.
