9 hours of discussions, still no news from the Kurti-Vucic meeting

After nine hours of discussions, there is still no news on the progress of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.

Albin Kurti and Aleksandër Vucic met in Ohrid. At first, the meetings were held separately with the representative of the European Union, Josep Borell, and with the EU emissary for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak. Afterwards, both parties Kosovo-Serbia and EU representatives sat at the table in the joint meeting.

The discussions started at 15:00.

At the end, Borell is expected to make a statement to the media.

Kurti and Vucic are discussing the recognition of the respective symbols of Serbia and Kosovo, IDs and license plates.

The talks have been extended from what was planned due to the point regarding the association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.

Since the start of the meetings, there has been no statement by the leaders or mediators.
