I am glad that as a former deputy of Lunxheria and today as mayor of Tirana, I give you the "Clock Tower" to remind you that it is always the right time to do the right thing. Just as you have done the right thing, not only as a call of your Albanian and Arvanitas blood, but also as a humanitarian man. We are grateful to you and I am glad that on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Tirana we remember those friends, those patriots, those brothers who, regardless of which side of the border they are on, their hearts beat for their country and have shown that time is only one passing notion. But, in fact, we determine the time ourselves. At the same time, we can do good work, we can heal people, we can build relationships, we can strengthen each other, or we can waste time. In Tirana we have a very precious time and that is why this 100th anniversary we want to appreciate those friends who have done their best when the borders have been opened to help as many people as possible. Thank you very much, I appreciate it very much ", said Veliaj.
The well-known doctor of Albanian origin thanked Mayor Veliaj for the appreciation and hospitality.
"I have always said that I get more from Albania than I gave. We emphasize that you are young, with a wide horizon and this is the best thing. You too are a young man with dreams, with the opportunity and dynamism to realize them. It is a guarantee for this country to have such people ", stressed Dr. Koliomihali.
Also present at the special reception was the mayor of Saraniko, Petros Filippou, who said that between Albania and Greece there have been and will always be many more policies that unite us than divide us.
