An exhibition of sketches will open in Tirana

On September 10, the "Graphic Novel from the Sea" exhibition, dedicated to contemporary sketches, organized by the Creative Industry Agency of Tirana, will open in Tirana.

The exhibition will remain open until October 10, and admission will be free.

Six Albanian and international artists will exhibit unpublished works inspired by the sea as a metaphor to show the world and the landscape, as a generative element that unites cultures, as a space for encounter, passage, inclusion and discovery.

The exhibition is curated by Elisabetta Tramacere and Donata Bologna, in collaboration with the Creative Industry Agency, with the international Comicdom Con Athens festival and is coordinated by Jonid Jorgji and Alice Bottega. In Murat Toptani Promenade, unpublished works of artists will be exhibited: Shpend Bengu (Albania), Gianluca Costantini (Italy), Thomas Gilbert (France), Elena Gogou (Greece), Roberta Muci Joe1 (Italy), Marco. Paschetta (Italy).

The exhibition is part of the larger project "From the perspective of the sea. The widespread festival of graphic novels in the southeast" aims to increase the culture of contemporary, national and international graphic novels and sees the cooperation of the Creative Industry Agency, part of the Municipality of Tirana. The project is coordinated by the Bibliomuseale di Lecce in collaboration with Diabolo Edizioni, LedA Laboratori, Picturebook Fest and with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture of Athens, the Italian Institute of Culture of Tirana, the Creative Industry Agency, Vitamina HUB, Marin Barleti University, Comicdom, BJCEM - Association Internationale pour Biennale des Jeunes Créateurs d' Europe et de la Méditerranée and Institute of Mediterranean Cultures, Creative HUB
