Mayor Erion Veliaj met the children of Ziver Veizi, one of the four protesters killed in the peaceful protest of the Socialist Party in front of the Prime Minister on January 21, 2011.
It was the Deputy Mayor of Tirana, Anisa Ruseti, who posted a photo on social networks of together with Ana and Clyde, two young people full of courage and excellent students who during this time have received scholarships from the Municipality of Tirana in order to pursue their dreams.

On January 21, 2011, four protesters were killed on the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" by the bullets of the Republic Guard outside the siege of the Prime Minister.
