The radio star returns to broadcast after surgery. The woman who won the battle with cancer
Adele Roberts has made her first appearance on BBC Radio 1 since undergoing surgery to remove a tumor a month ago.
The television and radio star announced in October that he had been diagnosed with bowel cancer before undergoing surgery, revealing that "everything had happened so fast".
Through Instagram, she documented her beginnings as she prepared to go to the studio for a show on a Saturday morning.
Starting with the very important task of setting the table for a cup of tea after 4:30 in the morning, the former participant in I am famous lar Get me out of here !, showed with pleasure the personalized stoma bag that her partner Kate had done for him, complete with the BBC Radio 1 logo.
"You are so wonderful Katie!", Declared the 42-year-old, before admitting: "I can not believe it! I will be back on Radio 1! I can't believe it - it's been a month since I had the operation, and they're letting me go back, which I think Kate is secretly happy with because I have to put that energy somewhere! '
As she documented the new part of the preparation, revealing parts of her morning care routine - which she calls "Audrey" - with the help of her girlfriend, the DJ shared: "I will try to cry as much as I can. i have to cry now, not to cry like a big kid later, on the radio. But I'm very excited! '
Adele also shared a photo of her from the studio shortly after 7 a.m. on Twitter, writing: "And now we're on air!" I've missed you so much. Please come and join Saturday's team. '
Friends and colleagues celebrated her return with her, including BBC radio DJ Rylan Clark-Neal, who commented: "Welcome lovely."
Earlier during her recovery, Adele had admitted that she 'felt a little uneasy' after a hard day on her healing journey.
Sharing her feelings on Instagram, she posted: “A bad night for me last night. I feel a little weak after I went shopping with Kate.
"Not as active as I was, someone hit me and then I was upset that I was clumsy," said Adele.
