YouTube now displays the best video moments

You Tube makes it easier for users to find the best moments in their videos.

The popular service updates the "player" of desktop and mobile videos with graphs that show the most popular (or most played) segments of videos. Users now will not have to use intuition or chapters to get content they really want to watch.

The company also hinted at plans to test an "easier" method of finding the exact moment in the video the user wants to play.

Instead of displaying a thumbnail for a certain moment, the video player will display a visual timeline that shows the scene change.

The mentioned test will soon be available for Premium subscribers, through the "new" section of You Tube.

The features listed are consistent with existing enhancements that YouTube has already implemented. These include improved full screen mode, automatically generated chapters and "link to a video".
