Marco Rubio has ordered the blocking of all passports of those who have applied for a passport in an unspecified sex, i.e. X, and those who have applied to change their sex.
He explains that legally in America it is forbidden to change sex and that the passport states sex and not gender.
As in any case, there are commentators who have turned against this decision and write: Gender can be changed, sex cannot.
