Iceland plans to introduce a tourist tax to help protect its nature.
The Nordic country has seen an increase in tourists over the past decade. In an interview with Bloomberg news agency last week, Iceland's Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir said a tourism tax could help combat the impact visitors have on the country's climate and environment.
How much will Iceland's tourist tax be?
Jakobsdóttir did not specify the exact amount of Iceland's tourism tax, she told Bloomberg that it "wouldn't be high, initially."
