Luiza Gega ranks second in the Manchester tournament
Luiza Gega finished second in the 3,000-meter indoor race at the Manchester World Indoor Tour in England this Saturday, a result that secures her a ticket to the World Indoor Championships to be held in the coming months in Belgrade.
Luiza trained for this race on the new athletics track built by the Municipality of Tirana.
Her achievement was greeted by the Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj, who wrote that this is proof that when sports and the city cooperate there is a result. He emphasizes that now is the time for the football to leave the sludge and give in to the talents who have a passion for football.
"Here is the proof that when sports and the city cooperate, there is a result. The time for every discipline, even in football, to get rid of the sludge and give in to talents who are passionate about football, not business. Force! "Luiza Gega super, ranks second in the Manchester tour", writes Veliaj.
