Today, in the premises of the Academy of Sciences, tributes were held in honor of the well-known doctor Isuf Kalo, who passed away on January 19 after a long illness.
Friends, colleagues and well-known personalities bid him a final farewell. Family members fulfill his bequest to rest in Albania.
The doctor died at the age of 81 on January 23 in Germany, where he was recovering from a serious illness.
Isuf Kalo was one of the best-known doctors in our country in endocrinology, specializing in diabetes. Doctor Kalo also served as the personal physician of former dictator Enver Hoxha.
