Selena Gomez tells for the first time: I will never be able to give birth to children due to health problems
Selena Gomez has revealed that she cannot give birth to children for health reasons.
"I have never said this, but unfortunately I cannot give birth to my children. I have many health problems that would endanger my life and the life of the child."
Although her path to motherhood will be different, the actress insisted that she wants to be a mother one day.
She told the media: "It's not necessarily the way I imagined it. I thought it would happen like it does for everyone."
"I consider it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do a surrogacy or adoption, which are both great opportunities for me."
"At the end of the day, I don't care how. It's going to be mine. It's going to be my baby," she said.
The former Disney star has previously spoken out about the medication she is taking to manage her bipolar disorder affecting her ability to give birth.
In 2013 she was diagnosed with lupus and four years later she successfully received a kidney transplant.
