What you need to know about postpartum hair loss and how to treat it
On average, a person loses about 100 hairs a day, but they do not fall out right away, so you do not notice them. Pregnancy hormones, on the other hand, prevent hair from falling out during pregnancy, but after birth hair loss is perfectly normal.

It appears as a result of the sudden change of hormones in the body, especially the difference between progesterone and estrogen after birth.

When does postpartum hair loss begin?

Women may notice postpartum hair loss two to four months after giving birth. The amount of hair loss that every woman experiences varies and is not always proportional to the quality or quantity of her hair during pregnancy. However, if you have longer hair or experience a lot of hair growth and augmentation during pregnancy, hair loss may seem more severe.

It is important to keep in mind that postpartum hair loss is temporary. Normal hair growth patterns usually resume 6 months after giving birth, but some women may experience postpartum hair loss for up to a year.

If you believe you are experiencing severe hair loss after giving birth or if your symptoms have lasted for more than a year, consult your doctor.

How to treat it:

1. Maintain a healthy diet

We are all aware that a healthy diet is essential for good health. Especially for postpartum women, it can help in overall recovery and prevent hair loss.

Make sure your diet contains the right balance of vitamins and nutrients, which can be found mainly in vegetables, whole grains and fresh fruits. Drink plenty of water.

2. Reduce stress

Reducing stress levels has helped to regulate hormonal imbalances. Experiment with different relaxation techniques, such as meditation and breathing exercises.

Make time for light or moderate exercise on a regular basis, which can also help reduce stress.

3. Use a volumizing shampoo

5. Zëvendësoni mungesën e hekurit, vitaminës B12, vitaminës D.

These deficiencies are very common and can last after birth. Nutrition is important as a breastfeeding mother needs more calories and nutrients.
