Rama reacts after the Kurti-Vučič clash: the UN Security Council is not the

Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted after the clash between Kurti and Vucic during the UN Security Council meeting where they debated the removal of the Serbian dinar from circulation in Kosovo.

According to Rama, the session at the Security Council was pointless and the UN Security Council is not the place for anything related to Kosovo.

"It was a senseless session. The UN Security Council is clearly not the place for anything related to Kosovo.

As two sovereign countries aspiring to EU membership, Kosovo and Serbia should fully focus on the EU-facilitated dialogue and focus on reaching agreements on financial circulation, postal service, double taxation and all other issues that benefit the daily lives of ordinary people, while also ensuring a peaceful future for future generations.

As we stand by Kosovo in preventing any external threat, Albania will continue to emphasize to the Kosovar leadership the importance of close coordination with its main allies. The unshakable and continuous standing together with them shows the sense of vision and state responsibility, while every case of standing alone in the path of full recognition diminishes the country's position in the public sphere of international relations," said Rama.
