The first episode of the long-awaited Albanian series "Prokurori" (The Prosecutor) comes to the cinemas of Tirana from October 10, directed by Fatmir Doga and produced by Ylli Ujka and Česk Ivanaj. The subject of the action/drama genre film takes its cue from the events of our everyday life, with a focus on justice reform and the struggle of an honest prosecutor to face organized crime and corrupt politicians.
But the special feature of "The Prosecutor" is the participation for the first time in an Albanian production of the great Hollywood actor, Danny Glover, who is known to the Albanian public for his legendary roles in films such as Lethal Weapon (with Mel Gibson), The Color Purple , Predator 2, Saw etc. In the series, Danny Glover plays the role of the American Ambassador in Tirana, who supports the justice reform and helps in its implementation.
With the extraordinary direction of Fatmir Doga, the film brings the story of Mentor Lika, an Albanian prosecutor, who loves his country more than anything else and is not defeated by criminal gangs or corrupt politicians. For him, love for the country is stronger than the interests of those who have no homeland at heart. The main role was entrusted to the talented actor Klodian Hoxha, while other well-known Albanian film actors are included in other roles, such as Romir Zalla, Gert Ferra, Marin Hoxha, Adriana Tolka, Sara Smaja, Desada Xjihani, etc.
The first episode of the series will premiere for the Albanian public on October 10 at Cineplexx in TEG, and then it will continue to be shown in all cinemas.
