Students of the Agricultural University of Tirana and students and teachers of Farka schools, planted 170 new trees in the Farka Lake Park.
"Today I have 170 gratitude for the 170 trees that the people of Farka and those of the Agricultural University have planted in this space, which is being transformed in an unimaginable way. This spring, in addition to waiting for the first buds of these trees, we will also wait for the opening of the large park of Farka. It is a bigger park than Lake Tirana. I know that for those who have seen the transformation of Tirana Lake, they think that it is one of the most beautiful parks in the Balkans, but the Farka park will be even more beautiful. There is indeed a quality investment, but above all it is a bigger space", said Veliaj, who was present.
In the end, Veliaj made an open invitation:
"You plant a tree and Tirana becomes greener, thanks to the tree that each of us planted. The invitation for everyone is: Swearing is easy, picking up a shovel is a little more difficult, because you need a little preparation, you need a plan, and of course you need some friends to do a planting action. I am very encouraged that our plan to plant 2 million trees by 2030 is almost in the middle, so very soon, I believe in the next few weeks, we will reach the figure of one million trees registered", concluded Veliaj.
